KERRY LANG, LMHC

Board Member
Wellness & Mental Health Director

After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2010, Kerry's career as an elementary school teacher was derailed and her life was turned upside down. Realizing how isolating this disease was for her and how difficult it was to get the mental health support she needed,  Kerry made it her mission to help others facing similar circumstances.

Flash forward to over a decade later, Kerry is now a licensed mental health counselor and expressive art therapist who works primarily with those who have chronic Lyme disease and similar chronic conditions. She spent the last six years working at the Dean Center for Tick Borne Illness at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, where she eventually became the Wellness and Mental Health Program Manager and also started similar patient programming for Covid Long Haulers.  Currently, Kerry works full time at her private practice, Kerry Lang, LMHC, where she offers wellness groups, art therapy workshops, support groups, and individual counseling- all virtually! She is also in the process of developing training and education platforms for mental health professionals on topics relating to art therapy and chronic illness stemming from infection.

In her spare time, Kerry enjoys spending time with her toddler, her dog, and her cat, and she also enjoys hot yoga, going to the beach, and sound healing. Kerry is super passionate about the concept of Post Traumatic Growth and believes community and having purpose and meaning are key elements to healing.
